Entapin (Pentazocine Injection BP) acts as agonist on kaapa and weakly antagonizes effects of opiates at mu opioid receptor. Entapin (Pentazocine Injection BP) promotes analgesia by activating receptors in the spinal cord, and it is used to relieve moderate degree of pain. Entapin (Pentazocine Injection BP) produces less degree of euphoria compared to morphine
