Contractubex Gel is only pharmaceutical preparation available for management of scars. Contractubex Gel is the research of Merz Pharma Germany. Contractubex Gel acts on both old & recent scars making it smoother and the tissue more functional, elastic, strong and less conspicuous. The three ingredients extratum Cepae, Allantoin and heparin sodium acts for improvement pathological scars. Serol the water-soluble base mediates the deep penetration of the active ingredients into the skin.

Contractubex Gel is indicated for

  • Hypertrophic scars/ Hypotrophic scars & keloidal scars.
  • Movement restricting and cosmetically disfiguring scars after operations/amputations, burns and accidents.
  • Contractures e.g. Duputryan’s contractures, traumatic contractures of tendons
  • Cicatricial Contractures (Atrophic scars)
