Cavira (Entecavir) is indicated for the treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B Virus infection in adults with evidence of active viral replication and either evidence of persistent elevations in serum aminotransferases (ALT or AST) or histologically active disease.
Cavira®0.5mg Tablet (Entecavir)
Cavira (Entecavir) is an antiviral medicine, a guanosine nucleoside analogue with selective activity against hepatitis B virus (HBV). It is designed to selectively inhibit the Hepatitis B virus, blocking all three steps in the replication process. Cavira (Entecavir) is more efficient than an older Hepatitis B drug e.g. Lamivudine. The recommended dose of Cavira for chronic hepatitis B virus adults and adolescents 16 years of age and older is 0.5 mg once daily.
Cavira (Entecavir) 0.5mg tablets are available in Alu-Alu pack of 30’s tablets.
